The Judoka Hai Karate school students have bagged 19 medals including 5 golds, 13 silver one bronze in the recently concluded Karate championship held at Srilanka.
The school and college students Yuvan, Hariharan, Sabarish, Raj and others took part in competitions held in various age categories and won the medals in each category.
Coaches Arivazhagan, S. Mohan, Krishnaveni who helped the students to perform to their optimal level felicitated the karate champs who brought laurels to the city in the International Tournament.
Over 500 students from seven South Asian and East Asian countries, including India, Thailand, Japan, Indonesia, and Srilanka took part in the International Tournament.
