The Tamilnadu Basketball Association and the Coimbatore District Basketball Association has organized a five day basketball championship for under 16 boys and girls at the PSG College of Technology campus.
On day three Coimbatore Girls beat Thanjavur in the girls match, while in the boys match Madurai outsmarted Thanjavvur.
In the boys category, 27 teams from 26 districts and 18 girls teams from 17 districts of the state will be participating in the championship. The matches will be conducted daily between 7.00 am and 12.00 noon and 2.00 pm and 9.00 pm at the basketball ground in the indoor stadium of the PSG College of Technology campus.
The finals of the championship will be held on 18 June 2017 and prizes will also be awarded on the same day.
The tournament is sponsored by Arise Foundation and CRI Pumps. Conducted by PSG Sports Club.
