The Tamilnadu Basketball Association and the Coimbatore District Basketball Association has organized a five day basketball championship for under 16 boys and girls at the PSG College of Technology campus.
Mr. Adhava Arjune, Chairman, Arais Foundation, Mr.G.Selvaraj, President, Coimbatore Dist. Basketball Association & Dr R. Rudramurthy, Principal of PSG College of Technology, have inagurated the event.
In the men’s category, 27 teams from 26 districts and 18 women’s teams from 17 districts of the state will be participating in the championship. The matches will be conducted daily between 7.00 am and 12.00 noon and 2.00 pm and 9.00 pm at the basketball ground in the indoor stadium of the PSG College of Technology campus.
The finals of the championship will be held on 18 June 2017 and prizes will also be awarded on the same day.
The tournament is sponsored by Arise Foundation and CRI Pumps. Conducted by PSG Sports Club.
