Indian Overseas Bank team lifted the 52nd Nachimuthu Gounder Cup after defeating the Income Tax team. The score cards read as 82/72.
In the women’s field, the 16th CRI Pumps cup for women was won by South Central Railway which defeated Chhattisgarh team which was declared as runner up.

CCMC Commissioner K. Vijayakarthikeyan who was the chief guest on the occasion handed over the 52nd Nachimuthu Gounder Cup trophy to IOB team and Rs.1,00,000 cash prize. Income tax team which was the runner-up team was given Dr. Mahalingam trophy and a cash prize of Rs.50,000.
The 16th CRI Pumps cup for women handed over to the winning team, South Central Railway and Rs.50,000 cash prize. The Chhattisgarh team which was the runner up was given a rolling shield and an Rs.25, 000 cash prize.
Indian Air force (Delhi) and Indian railways (Delhi) teams were given Rs.15,000 commendation cash prizes for good performance in the tourney.
The Indian Air force Team also won Renuka Ramanathan prize for best conduct in the tournament.
V.V.Raja Sathyan, President - Tamilnadu Basket Ball Association and Selvaraj, President, CDBA and, sports persons took part.
