Coimbatore: The Coimbatore District Tennis Association hosted a function at the Padmavathi Ammal Cultural Centre in Peelamedu to felicitate sportspersons from Coimbatore, Pollachi and Tirupur districts who are ranked within 50 in the last five years.
Coimbatore City Police Commissioner Balakrishnan presented the awards to 13 Indian top sportpersons. Coimbatore District Tennis Association President Srinivasan, Secretary Satheesh Kumar Nair, Treasurer Narendra, Vice-Presidents Sathasivam, Chokkalingam, Joint Secretary Dandu and others were present at the function.
