Master Kailash, a mechanical engineering student from Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College in Coimbatore, India, has recently achieved great success in the 7th AGKF (Asian Goju-Ryu Karate Federation) Karate Championship held in Dashrath Stadium, Kathmandu, Nepal. Representing India, Master Kailash has won a silver medal in the Junior -75kg category of the Kumite event.
Coimbatore: Master Kailash, a Mechanical Engineering student of Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College in Coimbatore, recently represented India in the 7th AGKF (Asian Goju-Ryu Karate Federation) Karate Championship 2023, which was held at Dashrath Stadium in Kathmandu, Nepal.
He brought glory to his college by earning a silver medal in Kumite in the Junior -75kg category.
He holds a first degree black belt and won gold at the 16th Okinawa Goju-Ryu Karate Open International Championship 2019 in Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia.
He has won 9 medals in various national level karate and judo competitions in the last three years.
