The 31st Federation Cup National Basketball Championship for men and women by the Tamil Nadu Basketball Association (TNBA) commenced this evening at the PSG Tech Indoor Sports Complex.
For the very first time, Coimbatore is hosting this tournament. In the past, these games were hosted in Tirupur and Sivakasi and after gap of more than gap of two decades this tournament is being hosted in our state.
Commissioner of Police, A. Amalraj inaugurated the tournament this evening in the presence of L.M. Ramakrishnan, Correspondent, Bharathi Vidhyabhavan Matric School, Erode and Former President of the Tamil Nadu Basketball Association, Aadhav Arjuna, Organizing Chairman of the tournament and Founder of Arise Foundation and other senior executive committee members of the TN Basketball Association.

Points - 74 -36, Winner - Kerala
Match 4: ONGC (Men) Vs Central Railways (Men)
Points: 75 - 64, Winner - ONGC
Match 5: Southern Railway (Women) Vs Chattisgarh (Women)
Points: 69 - 51, Winner - Southern Railway
Match 6: Tamil Nadu (Women) Vs West Bengal (Women)
Points: 72 - 67, Winner - Tamil Nadu.
