Coimbatore: After a long Covid pandemic break, the Under-14 sports tournament was organized in Coimbatore for Government School students.

More than 100 students participated and showcased their talents.

The District-level sports competition for Government School boys and girls below 14 years of age was held at the Nehru Stadium in Coimbatore. The tournament was inaugurated by District Sports Officer Ravichandran and District Chief Educational Officer Geetha.

The tournament which was organised by private organisations had events like volleyball, kabaddi, football, volleyball, badminton, throwball, hockey and carrom.
