Coimbatore District League Championship volleyball tournament was hosted for T.S.Natarajan Memorial Trophy for Men 2017 and Jayamani Dharmalingam Trophy for Women 2017. The tournament was organised by the Coimbatore District Volleyball Association from 6th January to 8th January 2017.
About 13 men’s team and 4 women’s team participated in this tournament. STC college emerged the winner and won a cash prize of Rs.10000 in men’s finals and PSGR Krishnammal College, Coimbatore won the finals in the Women's match and were awarded a cash prize of Rs.10000 . Sri Krishna Arts and Science College finished second and won a cash prize of Rs.8000 in men’s category and the Cotton City, Coimbatore team was the second runner-up. Avinashilingam University students were the runners in the women’s section.
The prize money and the trophy was distributed to the winning teams by Dharmalaingam, Volleyball Association Secretary, Aruchamy, and V.C. Ramalingam.
