Raman Vijayan Soccer School inaugurated at RAK's Pallikoodam at Coimbatore
Coimbatore: Raman Vijayan Soccer School launched their new and exciting partnership with RAK'S Pallikoodam by opening the High-Performance Soccer Training Centre in Rak’s campus in Coimbatore today.
Speaking about this the school management said, "Raman Vijayan Sports School(RVSS) Founder and Former Indian International player Raman Vijayan attendedthe event along with other esteemed personalities. It is through this wonderful opportunity that RVSS aims to promote the growth of professional football in Coimbatore.
'Raks Pallikoodam' being a sports school offers equal opportunities to balance sports and academics by partnering with leading academies for sports. The School has already partnered with Badminton Gurukul, an initiative by Pullela Gopichand."
The school soccer club follows the RVSS Training Model. The curriculum is divided into 5 objectives, subjects which will be executed in multiple phases. Each objective will have its own sub principles. Curriculum “A†syllabus will be used to provide a framework and identify aspects of the game that are determined to develop a particular style and methodology of play.
The goal is not a curriculum with rigid guidelines which will restrict an individual‘s, coach’s, player’s creativity. On the other hand, the academy believes that “A KID’S POTENTIAL = THE LEVEL OF THEIR IMAGINATION. So the academy creates an enjoyable and challenging set of activities and drills to better aid the creative learning process. Also, the academy values Responsibility, Respect and Determination as the fundamental values of the club. They form the basis for the players’, the coach’s and the club’s future success."
They highlighted that, "Soccer will improve "Mental & Physical 'abilities of every player. The Process of Learning Life skills being the Success - Possess - Lose – Bounce Back-Cycle. This is a Great Platform to participate at National level tournaments, Divisional Leagues and is a pathway to I-Leagues, ISL and National Team,"
