35th athletic meet for the colleges affiliated to the Bharathiar University (BU) began today at the Nehru Stadium in Coimbatore. 1400 athletes from 58 colleges affiliated to BU participated in this meet.
Today, 100 mts, shot put, long jump, javelin throw and many other events were held in which the students displayed their talent. Discuss throw, hurdles, high jump are also to be conducted today. Certificates and prizes will be distributed on 23rd, the last day of the event.
