Coimbatore: Adhyana Football Club registered an emphatic 4-0 victory over CS Academy in the Coimbatore District Football Association's C division league match held at Carmel Garden Matric Higher Secondary School in the city on Monday.
Coimbatore: Adhyana Football Club registered an emphatic 4-0 victory over CS Academy in the Coimbatore District Football Association's C division league match held at Carmel Garden Matric Higher Secondary School in the city on Monday.
CDFA is organising league matches for C- division team in the city in which 11 teams are playing, under league basis. As part of the tournament, two matches were conducted on Monday at Carmel Garden School ground.
In which, Adhyana Football Club played against CS academy and took up the lead in the 29th minute when Prakash grabbed the scoring opportunity to open the account for Adhyana.
Adhyana FC further continued their dominance and scored the second goal in the 41st minute of the game. This time it is Kuzhal who guided the ball into the nets. Sathish, emerged as the hero of the game by scoring two goals at 44th and 56th minute to extend their team's lead to 4-0 to claim the big win.
Similarly in another game, CIRS Football club defeated KRC football club by 3-2. Sivaraj (6th minute), Vasu (29th minute) and Sabarish (43rd minute) were the scorers for the winning side, while Prabakaran and Viswanathan scored one goal each for KRC.
