The Board of Cricket Council in India's Under 23 years InterState cricket tournament is being held at various parts of the country. The sixth match for Tamil Nadu Cricket Association is being conducted at Sri Ramakrishna Institutions Turf ground in the city. The four days match was kicked off on Wednesday.
Batting first, team Baroda batsmen showed their form as Mitesh Patel, N.A Rathva and Dhruv Patel scored half-centuries to post 287 in the first innings. While, Trilok Nag scalped five wickets for Tamil Nadu.
Starting their first innings, the visitors lost their opener Gauri Sankar very early and Lokeshwar joined hands with Vimal Kumar and added 83 runs and defeated Tamil Nadu who were all out for 207.
Baroda started their second innings with 55 runs lead, opener J K Singh with an unbeaten ton on day three posted 207 for the loss of 3 wickets holding a strong position in the game.
