Coimbatore: Nachimuthu Polytechnic College has emerged as champions of Inter Polytechnic College Table Tennis tournament held at PSG Polytechnic college on Wednesday.
Coimbatore: Nachimuthu Polytechnic College has emerged as champions of Inter Polytechnic College Table Tennis tournament held at PSG Polytechnic college on Wednesday.
The one-day Division level table tennis tournament organised by Inter Polytechnic Athletic Association was conducted on knockout basis in which five college teams from Coimbatore Division took part.
Out of the five teams, the host PSG Polytechnic College and Nachimuthu Polytechnic College qualified for the finals. In a thrilling finals, between the two teams, Nachimuthu Polytechnic College defeated PSG with ease by 3-0 to lift the trophy.
Dr. B Giriraj, Principal of PSG Polytechnic college distributed the prizes to the winners. Winners of this tournament will take part in the State Level Table Tennis tournament for Women to be held in January 2020.
