After winning the toss, PSG elected to bowl first and with the help of Kavianand, the victors bundled out JCT for just 35 runs in 16 overs. Following a convincing bowling performance, PSG chased down the target with ease in 5 overs.
In yet another match, Sri Ranganathar Institute of Polytechnic College defeated PA Polytechnic College by 5 wickets to enter quarter finals of the tournament.
