Coimbatore: In a bid to celebrate the spirit of Sportsmanship, Chennaiyin FC Co-Owner and Actor Abhishek Bachchan along with Chennaiyin FC players Anirudh Thapa, Edwin Sydney Vanspaul, Asih Saighani and Andre Schembri interacted with students of SSVM institution on Monday, here.
Addressing the students, Actor Abhishek Bachchan said, "It is great to see the students of SSVM partaking in a wide range of sporting activities. And, the positive impact created by physical education is evident among the students."
He added that School is the place where students learn many morals of life. "Cherish everyday and chase your dream", the actor said.
"To host Abhishek Bachchan and his team here at SSVM really has given an extra bit of magic to our young minds. His motivating words will encourage students to pursue sports and maximise the benefits out of physical education" opined Dr. Manimekalai Mohan, Managing Trustee of SSVM Institutions.
"Physical education will boost the mental wellbeing, build resilience, lift academic achievement and create active habits for life”, added Mr. Mohandoss, The Trustee, SSVM Institutions.
As part of the event students of SSVM performed a cultural programmes.
