The 32nd Sri Krishna National Athletic Sports Championship that was hosted by the Tamilnadu Athletic Association concluded yesterday at the Nehru Stadium grounds.
Announcing the winners at the Valedictory function, Kerala won the overall Championship securing a grand point of 423, followed by Tamilnadu in the Second place with 413 points and Haryana with 390 points, under the 103 categories of events. It is to be noted that Kerala team has won this National title for the 22nd time.

The five-day event identified some serious budding sports stars from all over the Nation. Team Tamilnadu won the maximum number of gold medals than Kerala, however on point basis they stood ahead of TN. With 24 gold medals, undoubtedly TN girls rocked the show.
Revathi from Madurai grabbed 3 gold medals and proved her outstanding talents. Loganayaki from Salem was awarded with 'Best Athletic Award'. Speaking to us Nisha Banu an athlete from team TN stated that 'As a team we are over-whelmed by the performance and glad that we have won the maximum number of golds and stood second. Sure, we would put all that is needed and develop our skills further and showcase our talents in Olympic's.
