Fourteen year old, Shakthi represented Tamil Nadu in U14 discuss throw competition for girls and scored 33.72 mts to clinch silver in her category.
Over 500 students from various parts of our country took part in the competition which was conducted under 14,17 and 19 years categories for both boys and girls. Various track and field events like 100mts, 200mts, 400mts, High Jump, Long Jump, Hurdles and Discuss throw were held.
