Coimbatore: Over 175 students enthusiastically participated in the State Level Non- Ranking Tennis tournament for Rising Star Trophy, organised by Levo Sports at Levo Sports complex in the city on Sunday.
Coimbatore: Over 175 students enthusiastically participated in the State Level Non- Ranking Tennis tournament for Rising Star Trophy, organised by Levo Sports at Levo Sports complex in the city on Sunday.
The tournament was conducted under knockout basis for various age categories from under 8 to 16 years of age and men singles. The weekend tournament features as many as 175 players around Tamil Nadu.

Winners: Under 10 yrs category - Red ball Mini Court, Naren Mithren defeated Faadil by 11-5 in the finals while in under 8 category, Ishaan Sudharshan emerged victorious by sealing Anila Kupia by 5-0 in the finals.

In under 10 category, Bavishnu defeated Alan by 7-5 to lift the trophy and Karthik claimed a 7-6 win over Rohith to emerge champion in under 12 category. In under 14 category, Jaicharan emerged victorious in both under 14 and 16 category by defeateing Bala Surya by 6-1 and 6-4 in under 14 and 16 respectively. In Men's finals, Vasanth emerged as a winner as he sailed over Balasurya by 6-2.
