After a slow start in bowling on day one, Tamil Nadu bowlers bowled well in the second day to wind up the visitors for just 281. Notabley, Captain Anil Parida scored 136 runs in Odisha's innings.
Tamil Nadu Batsmen started their innings very positively yet short-lived. They lost their opener in the 9th over for 24 runs. However, the Captain did not bother about the early wicket and started very positively and kept the scoreboard ticking.
Though, Tamil Nadu lost its other opener in a few overs, the Skipper played his natural game and maintained the momentum of the game. Also, Pradosh Ranjan Paul and Boopathi added 153 runs for 3rd wicket partnership.
At day two stumps, Tamil Nadu was 213 for loss of four wickets. Pradosh Ranjan Paul 99 not out and Vidyuth 4 not out.
