Coimbatore: An extraordinary batting performance from D Sampath Kumar who scored 102 runs and a six-wicket haul by medium pacer, S Rajesh, paved the way for Miracle Cricket Club to clinch a comfortable victory over Suryabala Cricketers in the CDCA third division league match at the PSG Medical College grounds, on Sunday.

Batting first, Miracle CC with the help of Sampath's ton and Nagaraj's 78 scored 291 runs in their 50 overs. Defending the total, medium pacer Rajesh striked at the right moments at regular intervals to bundle out the opponents for 165 in the 40th over itself, thus enabling Miracle CC to register a thumping victory over their opponents by 126 runs.
