Department of School Education Coimbatore Tamilnadu is hosting a two day Zonal athletic meet at Nehru Stadium. This event was declared open yesterday, October 26 and will conclude today. As part of this athletic meet several track and field events are organized for school children.
At the inaugural function that was hosted yesterday, October 26, District Physical Education Officer C R Ananta Lakshmi, hoisted the hosted the District Educational Flag. The traditional lamp was lit by R Vanja, Inspector of Matriculation School. The district flag was hoisted by R Vanja.
This evening a valedictory function will be hosted at the Nehru Stadium.
