Coimbatore: PSG College of Arts and Science retained the Bharathiar University Inter College Basketball title as they emerged winners at the inter college tournament which was hosted by the Sri Krishna Adithya College of Arts and Science, on Thursday.
Coimbatore: PSG College of Arts and Science retained the Bharathiar University Inter College Basketball title as they emerged winners at the inter college tournament which was hosted by the Sri Krishna Adithya College of Arts and Science, on Thursday.
Over 30 Arts and Science colleges from Coimbatore, Pollachi, Erode, Gopi and Nilgiris participated in the three-day knockout-cum-league tournament held between October 22-24. The tournament was inaugurated by Dr. S Palaniammal, Principal of Sri Krishna Adithya College of Arts and Science.
Dr. NGP Arts and Science College, GRD College of Arts and Science, STC College of Arts and Science and PSG College of Arts and Science were the four teams that qualified for the league stage matches. PSG CAS stood undefeated in the league matches and emerged winners of the tournament. Following PSG CAS, Dr. NGP Arts and Science College were runners-up in the tournament. The third and fourth place were secured by STC CAS, Pollachi and GRD College of Arts and Science.
Dr. S Palaniammal, Principal of Sri Krishna Adithya College of Arts and Science presented the trophies to the winners of the tournament.
