Coimbatore: The students of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) won medals at the 44th Senior National Tennikoit Championship Tournament held in Delhi. The tournament was organized by Amateur Tennikoit Association in Delhi and was conducted by the Tennikoit Federation at Mata Sukhi Devi Public School in Delhi.

A Ramya, studying I M.Sc, Floriculture and Landscaping participated and won the Singles Open and the Women Team Championship. K Keerthana studying IV B.Sc Agriculture won the bronze medal in the Women's Doubles event and the Women Team Championship.
The Carrom Association of Maldives organized an International President League Carrom Championship 2019 involving India, Sri Lanka and the Maldives, which also included a test series with India. Mukesh, studying I B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture represented India in the Junior Category and won the Test series 5-0 with a silver medal in the President League Championship.
The winners were lauded by the Vice-Chancellor Dr. N Kumar, Registrar Dr. A S Krishnamoorthy, Dean (Center for Students Welfare), Dr. T Raguchander, Dean (Agriculture). Dr. M Kalyanasundaram and Dr. G Raghavan, Director of Physical Education.
