Coimbatore : Hindustan College of Engineering and Technology emerged as champions of Anna University Zone X Inter College Athletic championship by scoring a total of 70.5 points, held at Sri Krishna college of Technology (SKCT) on Saturday.
Coimbatore : Hindustan College of Engineering and Technology emerged as champions of Anna University Zone X Inter College Athletic championship by scoring a total of 70.5 points, held at Sri Krishna college of Technology (SKCT) on Saturday.
Over 700 students from various engineering colleges of Anna University enthusiastically participated in the Athletic meet.
As many as 22 athletic events for both boys and girls were held in the three-day championship that kicked off on Thursday.
Srinivasan Alavandar of SKCT along with C Mariselvam, Director of physical education inaugurated the meet.

In the overall points table, Hindustan College of Engineering and Technology took the centre of the podium, as they kept themselves 4 points ahead of JCT college of engineering Technology which secured 66 points.
Similarly in women's category, P.A College of Engineering and Technology, Pollachi (PACET) with114.5 points lifted the overall championship Trophy.
Following PACET, Dr. Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology with 59 points secured the second place. The second runner up of the tournament was secured by the host SKCT Krishna with 34.5 points.
Srinivasan Alavandar, Principal of SKCT who was the chief guest, distributed the prizes to the winners.
