Coimbatore: The defending champions, Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Vidhyalaya MHSS and Sri Ramakrishna MHSS have qualified into the finals of the Junior Super Kings T20 inter School tournament.
Coimbatore: The defending champions, Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Vidhyalaya MHSS and Sri Ramakrishna MHSS have qualified into the finals of the Junior Super Kings T20 inter School tournament.
The 6th edition of the tournament sponsored by The Muthoot Group and supported by TNCA kicked off on Sep 30 in the city. The tournament is aimed to provide a platform for the school kids to exhibit their cricketing skills and keep driving their dreams to reach the pinnacle in this sport.
At the semi finals of the tournament held today and in the first semi finals between Sri Ramakrishna MHSS and R.K.S Kalvi Nilayam HSS at PSG IMS grounds, Ramakrishna marched into the finals with a lead of 48 runs.
While in the second semi finals at PSG IMS grounds, the defending champions thrashed Mani HSS to book their spot in the finals once again.
Scores: Sri Ramakrishna M.H.S.S 111/5 in 20 Overs defeated R.K.S Kalvi Nilayam H.S.S 63/6 in 20 Overs.
Mani H.S.S 38 in 16.5 overs (G.Siddharth 3/3) lost to Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Vidhalaya M.H.S.S 39/1 in 7.4 Overs.
