The Track Force Sports Club along with the Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Galaxy held its 2nd Sports Meet 'Abled Kovai' for the differently abled on Sunday, at N S Matriculation School, in Kuniyamuthur in the city.

After a successful first edition of 'Abled Kovai,' Track Force Sports Club conducted its second edition in a grand manner. The event aimed to encourage differently-abled athletes and engage them in sports.
Over 25 teams and 250 participants from Kanyakumari, Dindigul, Salem, Erode, Thoothukudi, Chennai and Puducherry participated in the tournament held on Sunday. Sitting Volley Ball for men and women, Cerebal Palsy Football, Wheelchair Basketball for men and women and Shotput were the events conducted for the participants.
In the Sitting Volleyball category in which 10 teams vied for the trophy, the team from Coimbatore triumphed in both men and women's categories. In the Wheelchair Basketball category, Eagles from Chennai and the Spinal Shooters from Vellore were the top two finishers in the tournament.
For Cerebal Palsy Football, five teams from various districts participated. The team from Theni emerged at the top, showcasing not only their fitness but also their determination in the game. Following Theni was Coimbatore who secured second place in the tournament.
Anbarasan (Chairman,Nallaram Trust), Ameersulthan (SIO - Tamil Nadu State Secretary), Mageshvaran (Inspector - Podanur station) and Imran - Chairman (N S Matriculation School) were the chief guests at the prize distribution and awarded the trophies and cash prizes to the winners.
