Coimbatore : PSG college of Arts and Science emerged as champions of inter college volleyball tournament for men by defeating Government Arts college in the finals held at KPR college of Arts and Science on Friday.

Over 20 colleges around the city veid for the trophy kicked off on Wednesday at KPR Institutions. The tournament was conducted under knockout basis in which PSG CAS, RVS CAS, Government Arts college and Kovai Kalaimagal college of arts and Science were the top four teams qualified for the semi finals.
In the finals of the tournament held on Thursday, PSG CAS and Government Arts college, Coimbatore clashed for the trophy. And, PSG CAS took the full control of the game, as they defeated the opponent by 2-0 to lift the trophy.
In the clash between RVS and Kovai Kalaimagal for the third and fourth place, RVS college of Arts and Science emerged successful to secure the third place.
Dr.S.Balusamy, Principal KPR CAS along with Physical directors Thambidurai and Stalin distributed the prizes to the winners.
