Coimbatore: The Coimbatore District Football Association election was held on September 24 to elect the President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary for the next tenure.
Coimbatore: The Coimbatore District Football Association election was held on September 24 to elect the President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary for the next tenure.
The election was held in the presence of M Thangaraju, District Judge (Rtd.) appointed by the Madras High Court, at the Football Association office located in Nehru Stadium, Coimbatore.
27 teams cast their votes and the results were declared on the same day by retired Judge M Thangaraju. Dr. Madan A Sendhil, Chairman, Rathinam Group of Institutions was elected as the President of the Coimbatore District Football Association, M Dinakaran, K Raja, KRV Ramasamy and O Shanmugasundaram has been elected as Vice Presidents of the Coimbatore District Football Association.
T Krishnamoorthi has been elected as the Secretary, N P Anilkumar has been elected as Assistant Secretary, and T Shanmugam has been elected as Treasurer. The tenure of the newly elected members will be from 2019 to 2023.
