N.D Hari Shankar of Combined Districts team scored 81 which helped to steady their innings, as their openers and top orders failed to give them a good start. Hari Shankar's responsible knock under pressure helped their team to post 183 runs on board.
Though Hari Shankar and Vivek shared 120 odd runs between them, the failure of other batsmen made them all out for 183 in the 71st over. At the end of day one, City XI were 43/3 in 15 overs.
