The 62nd Republic Day East Zone Sports Meet was inaugurated by R Murugan, CEO along with R Geetha, DEO, R P Ravichandran, DSO and Dr. R Nandhini, Correspondent of Educational Institutions.
Over 1100 students from 42 schools are taking part in the athletic meet which is being conducted under various age categories like Under 14,16,17 and 19 years, for both boys and girls. Various track and field events are being conducted.
