Coimbatore : The host Kumaraguru College of Technology registered a thrilling one point victory over Sri Eshwar College in kabaddi which was held as part of Kumaraguru inter college sports (KICS) at KCT campus on Thursday.
Coimbatore : The host Kumaraguru College of Technology registered a thrilling one point victory over Sri Eshwar College in kabaddi which was held as part of Kumaraguru inter college sports (KICS) at KCT campus on Thursday.
Kumaraguru College of Technology is conducting inter college sports fest for both engineering and arts colleges. As part of KICS, various sports events were conducted at their college premises.
In Kabaddi, KCT played against Sri Eshwar College of Engineering and clinched a nail biting victory by one point to qualify to the next round. Similarly, KCT shone in basketball by defeating Hindustan College of Engineering and Technology.
Following Kabaddi, KICS hosted ball badminton, Kho Kho and football matches in which Paavai, PSNA College Of Engineering and Technology registered their first win of the tournament. And, Coimbatore Institute of Technology, PSG college of Technology and KCT emerged victorious in the above sports.
There are more than 40 events to be conducted as part of KICS in which 41 engineering colleges and 10 arts and Science college are taking part.
