Coimbatore: As many as 300 students from various schools in the south zone enthusiastically participated in the inter school athletics championship held at Nehru Stadium on Tuesday.
Coimbatore: As many as 300 students from various schools in the south zone enthusiastically participated in the inter school athletics championship held at Nehru Stadium on Tuesday.
South zone Inter School athletics meet is being hosted by PMG Matriculation school at Nehru Stadium from Monday. Students from around 51 schools are taking part in the meet. The meet is being conducted under various age categories- under 14, 17 and 19.
Track and field events like 100mts, 200mts, 400mts, High Jump, Long jump, shotput, relay are being being conducted. The meet was inaugurated by Subbulakshni, D.E.O along with Rathinasababathi, Correspondent of PMG Matriculation school.
Salman, Vijay Akshay, Ashwin, Subiskha, Malini, Rithika, Vinitha, Deepika, Sri Durga were successful in their respective categories of the athletic meet. R Murugan, C.E.O along with Rathinasababathi, Correspondent of PMG school distributed prizes to the winners of the meet.
