Having scored 1-1 in full time, SBOA and Government higher secondary school, Pichanur went on to a tie breaker where SBOA lead a point, ahead of the opponent and qualified into the quarter finals (Manoj kumar at 8' for Govt School, Pichanur & Varun at 21' for SBOA).
In another match, Gopal Naidu HSS thrashed Brindavan Vidhyalaya by 9-0. Dharneesh scored 4 points at 15', 22', 39'and 46' for Gopal Naidu.
At the pre quarter finals, CMS MHSS defeated Ashram MHSS by 4-5 in a tie breaker after 1-1 in the full time. Meenesh at 12 for Ashram and Sheri at 19 for CMS were the top scorers.
Quarter finals of the tournament is scheduled today at Nehru Stadium.
