After winning the first two matches, team Dinamalar played against Times of India in their third match. Batting first, Dinamalar started off with a positive batting from Prabhu and Hitler Raja who helped them to post 172 on board.
Following their batting innings, Dinamalar restricted the opponents for 145 In 20 overs. Thus, registering a hat trick win in the tournament.
Similary, in the afternoon match between Media XI and The New Indian Express, Media XI after losing their opening game against Dinamalar came back strong winning two consecutive matches in the league.

Playing against The New Indian Express on Saturday, Media XI batted first and scored 137 in their 20 overs. Batting second Express started their innings in a positive way but Media XI in the second half of their innings pounced back in the game. Subramaniyan's 3 wickets in the middle over provided Media XI an momentum to strike. Media XI defeated The New Indian Express in a thrilling match by 1 run.
