Bharathiar University hosts Inter-College Basketball Tournament for Men
Bharathiyar University's Inter-Collegiate Basketball Tournament for Men 2016-2017 was kick started on 26th September. Close to 31 teams from various colleges affiliated to Bharathiyar University are participating in this 3-day tournament.
Pre-quarterfinals Score:
Kongunadu College won against Hindustan College of Arts and Science - 60-29
Dr.SNS College won against Nehru College - 37-19
STC College Pollachi won against Rathinam College Coimbatore - 87-65
Bishop Appasamy College of Arts and Science won against Govt. Arts College - 35-12
Quarterfinal Scores:
GRD College Coimbatore won by 77-27 with Kongu Engineering College
Sri Krishna College of Arts and Science won by 53-09 with Dr.SNS College Coimbatore
STC College Pollachi won by 69 - 29 with Bharathiyar University
PSG College Coimbatore won by 62-30 with Bishop Appasamy College of Arts and Science.
Presently, the league matches are in progress and the finals will be played tomorrow. The prizes will be distributed at the Valedictory function scheduled tomorrow.
