Junior section matches of YMCA district level basket ball tournament kick started on Friday in which RKS and PSG won their respective knockout round match with ease.
In the match against, RKS and PGV, the victors kept their intent right throughout the game to clinch a comfortable 37-59 victory over PGV to qualify to the next level (Lingeswaran of RKS scored 12 points). While PSG on court 2 defeated Nava Bharath by 37-63 (Deepak of PSG scored 18 points for his side).
Similary in other knockout matches, Stanes defeated Bharathi matriculation higher secondary school by 72-69 in a close contest (Mohammad Niyaas for stanes scored 15 points) and Shri P Mallaiyan Matriculation school defeated CS Academy by 78-50 (Kishore for Mallaiyan scored 30 points).
