Around 200 players from various parts of the nation are taking part in the tournament hosted by K G Ramesh Tennis academy flagged off on Monday.
The tournament is being conducted under two categories - U 14 and U 16 (singles and doubles) for both boys and girls. More than 32 pairs took part in the U16 doubles category in which Kabir, Viraj, Sai, Kavin have entered the finals of the tournament after outsmarting their opponents in the semifinals held today.
Kabir, Viraj played their semifinals against Deepak and Shravan, after losing their first game by 6-4. They bounced back to win the next two games by 4-6, 7-10 to book a spot in the finals.
In the other semifinal, Sai and Kavin defeated Siddharth and Akilesh by 4-6, 6-0, 10-4 to qualify for the finals of the tournament which is scheduled for Thursday.
