The Coimbatore District Cricket Association is hosting three Round Robin matches, here in the city. The Round Robin tournament winners qualify for the State team. The best performers from these three matches will be selected to take part in the 'Combined District' tournament.

The second match of the three-match tournament commenced yesterday, with District II batting first but being restricted to only 146 in 56 overs. S Sivedevan contributed with 49 runs for his side, which was the highest score for his side. Batting second, District I paced their innings slowly and steadily with Sibiyenthal scoring a solid half century on the first day. At the end of the day, District I scored 88/2.
