Coimbatore : Around 200 players from various parts of the country are taking part in the national level AITA (All India Tennis Association) organized by K G Ramesh tennis academy and Tennis Players Parents Association in the city.

The tournament is being conducted under two categories- U 14 and U 16 (singles and doubles) for both boys and girls.

Today being the first day of the tournament, players from various states participated enthusiastically and showcased their skills.

In the first round of the tournament, Saksham Hema Attray defeated Karthikeya Subramaniya 6-0, 6-0 to register a thumping victory and to qualify for the second round. Similarly, Dinesh Rithik had a good game against Krithik Sivakumar 6-1, 6-2 to register his first win in the tournament.
