Coimbatore : Satchidananda Jothi Nikethan International School, Kallar has emerged as champions of 'PSG Trophy' an district level hockey tournament for Junior boys organised by PSG Sarvajana Higher Secondary School on Saturday.
Coimbatore : Satchidananda Jothi Nikethan International School, Kallar has emerged as champions of 'PSG Trophy' an district level hockey tournament for Junior boys organised by PSG Sarvajana Higher Secondary School on Saturday.
Dr. PVG school and Satchidananda Jothi Nikethan International School clashed in the finals of the 'PSG Trophy'. Though PVG gave no room for the opponent to score and kept them goal-less, the flip side victors managed to score regularly. Thus, Satchidananda defeated Dr.PVG by 5-0 to emerge as champions of the tournament.

Similarly, in a match between Sri Ragevendra and the host PSG, Sri Ragevendra School defeated the host by 2-0 to secure third place in the tournament.
Srinivasan of Dr.PGV Matric HSS was selected as a best forward player of the tournament; while the best defender was awarded to Shylish Subramaniam of Satchidananda Jothi Nikethan.

P. Narayanasamy, Secretary of PSG Sarvajana Higher Secondary School presented the prizes to the winners.
