The Hockey Nilgiris and G.P.M Warriors Association hosted the district level hockey competition over the past week.
In the first semi-finals, G.P.M Warriors beat Peratti by a scoreline of 3-1. Alorai beat the Neptune team by 3-0. The finals between G.P.M Warriors and Alorai was tied at 3-3 with both teams playing exceptionally well, until Alorai came out on top in the penalty shootout, scoring 3-0. Singhmon and Sankar officiated the finals of the tournament.
Raja, the TANGEDCO Accounts Officer awarded prizes to the runners-up, G.P.M Warriors while the Alorai team was awarded by the Vice President Suresh Kumar.
