Coimbatore : Rajalakshmi Mills High School Alumni Basketball Club (RLMHSA BBC) emerged champions at the district level 'All India All star' 2nd Navakodi Memorial Trophy tournament for junior boys (Under 16), which was held at the CDBA basketball court, here in the city, on Sunday.
Coimbatore : Rajalakshmi Mills High School Alumni Basketball Club (RLMHSA BBC) emerged champions at the district level 'All India All star' 2nd Navakodi Memorial Trophy tournament for junior boys (Under 16), which was held at the CDBA basketball court, here in the city, on Sunday.

About 40 school and club teams vied for the trophy which was organised by the Rajalakshmi Sports Club. The hosts exhibited their brilliant skills to take home the coveted Navakodi Memorial Trophy. RLMHSA, RKS HSS, PSG Sarvajana and Bharathi Matric HSS were the four teams to qualify for the league stage matches in the Youth Boys category, in which RLMHSA Club bagged the highest points to lift the trophy. Following RLMHSA, RKS secured second place in the same category.
In the Sub-junior girls category, CCMA remained undefeated to clinch the trophy while in the Sub-junior boys category, the Young Blood Basketball Club secured first place while RKS secured second place in the tournament.

Dr.Palanisamy retired Statistics Professor of PSG College of Arts and Science who was the chief guest at the event distributed the prizes to the winners.
