Coimbatore : RKS Higher Secondary School started their basketball campaign with a bang at the district level 2nd 'All India All Star' tournament, for the Navakodi Trophy by clinching a victory in both sub junior and youth boys category at the CDBA basketball court, here on Thursday. About 40 teams are taking part in the three categories - Sub junior boys, Sub junior girls and Youth boys. In today's match, RKS emerged successful in both categories.

In the sub junior boys category, RKS played against Yuvabarathi Higher Secondary School and defeated them by 56-4 to register a thumping victory while in the Youth boys category, RKS defeated Suguna PIP by 50-17.
In another Youth boys match, YMCA Basketball Club, RLMHSS Basketball Club and PSG Sarvajana HSS emerged successful while in the Sub junior category, Young Blood Basketball Club and Bharathi Matric Higher Secondary School won their respective matches on day two of the tournament.
