More than 100 participants from Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Odisha, West Bengal are part in the tournament which is being conducted under two categories singles and doubles for both junior boys and girls.
In girls category, Tamil Nadu's Kundana Sri Bandaru clashed with Sai Bhoyar of Maharashtra and defeated by 6-1, 6-0 to book her spot in the semi finals. While her State mate, Lakshmi Prabha had an close encounter against Ishita Jadhav of Maharashtra by 7-6, 7-5 to qualify to semi finals.
In another quarter finals match, Reshma Maruri clinched victory over Karthika Vijay of Tamil Nadu with ease by 6-1, 6-0 and Suhutha Maruri of Karnataka went through Cyril Joel by 6-2, 6-1.
In boys Category, Aayush Bhat of Karnataka, Maharashtra's Saheb Sodhi, Karnataka's Nithilan Eric and Karin Khan of Maharashtra are the other semi finalist in the single junior boys category.
