PKR played against the Andhra Pradesh state team in the second league match of the tournament. PKR controlled the match completely and defeated the AP team in straight sets of 3:0, to book a spot among the top four.

In another league match between SRM and GKM, SRM, Chennai emerged victorious by defeating GKM by 3:1.
