Coimbatore District Football Association had organised league matches for A, B and C division teams. The 'C' division league matches were held at Carmel Garden school ground here from April 28 to May 19.
In the 'C' division league match at Carmel Garden, eight matches were played in the league, Adhyayana Football Club has scored 22 points with 36 goals to emerge as champions in the league.
Following Adhyayana, Vaga Football Club secured the runner up trophy with 18 points in eight matches.
Nandha Kumar of Adhyayana Football Club was selected as the best player of the tournament. Trophies were presented to the winners and runners of the league.
In the final league held on Sunday before the prize distribution, Adhyayana and Madukkarai UFC clashed which ended in a goalless draw.
Earlier, on Saturday Adhyayana Football Club defeated Royal football club 8-0. Nandha Kumar of Adhyayana scored three goals for his side.
