36th Youth National Basketball Championship: Tamil Nadu Girls enter quarter finals

Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu girls made their way to the quarter finals, as they defeated Kartnataka in the 36th Youth National Basketball Championship held here at the PSG Tech Indoor sports complex on Saturday.

Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu girls made their way to the quarter finals, as they defeated Kartnataka in the 36th Youth National Basketball Championship held here at the PSG Tech Indoor sports complex on Saturday.

Tamil Nadu girls finished their league matches at the top to enter the quarter finals in style by defeating Kartanaka by 16 points in the final league match. Tamil Nadu (52) beats Karnataka (36).



At the first two quarer of the match, Karnataka girls team led the way. However, the Tamil Nadu girls gained their momentum at the later half of the match and finished with a leading 16 points to seal the game. 



Scores : Tamilnadu (52) beats Karnataka (36).

Top Score : Karanataka - Sunishka Kartik (10), Harini (10). Tamilnadu - Nitika (13), Shree Varshini (10), Angel Jeevitha (10).

Match: Punjab (68) beats Chattisgarh (31)

Top score : Punjab - Harsimran Kaur (33), Kavya singla (12). Chattisgarh- Ruksarali (12).

Match: Telangana (53) beats Bihar (50). 

Top score : Telangana - Tadla nitya (24) , koduru ojasui (14). Bihar - Pragya pande (14), Mushkan (25).
