Coimbatore : To bring out the shooting talents in the city and to create a platform for them, Coimbatore Rifle Club has organised a seven-day shooting camp here in the PRS Ground.
Coimbatore : Around 40 participants took part in the seven-day summer shooting coaching camp organised by the Coimbatore Rifle Club at PRS Ground here.
The camp which was kick started on May 5 ended on May 12 and featured participants under two categories - under 15 and above 15 years.
During the camp, the participants were taught the basic aspects of shooting like handling the weapon, aiming and shooting at the target.
Accredited trainers Arun Kumar and Satguru Dev trained the participants.
Yesterday, being the final day of the camp, Coimbatore Rifle Club had organised a competition for the shooters in which participants Hritik, Isha and Taniska emerged as winners.
