Pothanur SC were dominant right from the beginning of the game and scored their first goal at 23rd minute of the game. The opponents did not give up the fight as they scored their equaliser at the 31st minute.
While both the teams were equally poised, it was Sasi Kumar of Pothanur SC who produced the lead at 44th minute of the game which turned the course towards Pothanur SC's victory.
Sasi Kumar of Podanur SC scored 2 goals at 23' and 44' minute and for CIRS SC Sideesh scored a goal at 31'.
Similarly in another 'C' division league match between Adhyayana FC and MR FC, Adhyayana FC defeated MR FC by 2-0. Kishore and Deena were the top scorer for the winning side.
